Dr. Sian Spacey is an Associate Clinical Professor in the Division of Neurology at UBC. She completed a fellowship in Neurology at UBC and a fellowship in Neurogenetics at Queens Square, London, England. Dr. Spacey has clinical and research interests in headache and neurogenetics. She has been the Program Director of the CIP since 2005 and is an avid cyclist.
Tessa completed a Business Leadership Certificate program at Vancouver Community College and also holds a degree in Business Administration from the Philippines. She has extensive research and clinical administration experience.
She joined UBC in 2004 at the Centre for Community Child Research and moved on to join the James Hogg Research Centre at St. Paul’s Hospital as grants facilitator and part-time CIP program coordinator. In 2012, she took over the program full time and is also currently the coordinator of the PGME Transition into Practice program.
She has traveled the world extensively, dances to Zumba and occasionally downhill skis. She is also a foodie and loves her wine, craft beers and ciders.
