About Us

IMG_1587Dr. Sian Spacey is an Associate Clinical Professor in the Division of Neurology at UBC.  She completed a fellowship in Neurology at UBC and a fellowship in Neurogenetics at Queens Square, London, England.  Dr. Spacey has clinical and research interests in headache and neurogenetics.  She has been the Program Director of the CIP since 2005 and is an avid cyclist.

Tessa Feuchuk joined the University of British Columbia in 2004 after working for many years in hospital research administration in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.  In Vancouver, she has worked at the Centre for Community Child Research and the James Hogg Research Centre.  In 2012, she took on the full-time management and expansion of the UBC Clinician Investigator Program.  She is also the program coordinator of the Transition into Practice program at UBC, established in 2015.

A graduate of the Business Administration program at Vancouver Community College, Tessa has extensive research and clinical administration experience.  She is one of the forerunners of the Canadian network of Clinician Investigator Program Administrators, and serves as an advisor to student members of UBC’s Medical Student Clinician Scientist Career Group.

Tessa is a world traveler, a foodie and loves her wine, cider, and craft beers.  She is also a Barre fitness enthusiast and likes to go hiking and skiing, when possible.
